First prepare your keys and plastic cover with two yellow rubber washers. Insert two screws of the same length. There are screws with different lengths in the kit and you choose the right ones based on how many keys you will store in your Keeyper. In case you are not really sure which length screws you should choose, go with the longer ones because you will be able to swap them at the end.
2. Place one plastic cover with screws on the table and beside it place the other cover with nylon mesh in it. You should be able to see a little triangular mark on both of them. Once the Keeyper will be all put together the two triangles should be one above the other. If you don’t put your covers together this way, the screws won’t fit perfectly and Keeyper won’t function as it should.
3. Now that you have your one cover and screws ready, you can start adding washers and keys to it. The washers come in two different thicknesses (different colours). Put the first two washers directly on the cover and then start adding your keys. In the case of a bigger key there might not be enough space on the other side for the next key. In that case use the washer instead.
4. Once you set and organize your keys, you can put the cover with the nylon mesh on top of it and slightly push it down so it sits nicely on the screws. Hold the Keeyper with one hand and with the other hand screw in two main screws. Once you’ve done this, check how hard the keys are opening out. If you think the keys are too hard to open out, unscrew the screws just for one tiny bit.
5. (Optional) – if you wish you can add a little screw in the middle of the cover. There are a few different lengths of these screws available in the kit. If you are not able to find the right length just take the longest one and cut it in the appropriate length.

On the 18th of May american ambassador Lyinda C. Blanchard honoured us with the visit in our company. We talked a bit about 3D printing technology and of course about printing of protective equipment, especially our 3D printed face shields. US Embassy also bought 1660 units of our shields and donated them to the nursing homes around Slovenia.
As a protocol gift for Mrs. Blanchard we printed a model of a local statue called “Gorjanka”.

Thanks to 3D printing, we can manufacture a variety of different products, including toys,
souvenirs, spare parts, and even protective masks. This is our contribution towards fighting
the virus that has affected our lives in the last couple of weeks. The Ajdovščina Civil
Protection Unit invited us to collaborate in the project of printing reusable protection masks,
which are currently in prototype phase. We received a 3D file that needed a few corrections
and, pronto, the mask was ready for printing! Of course, the mask has to be complete with a
suitable filter to be safe for use. The printing of such masks requires extreme caution, since
such products have to be reliable and adequately tested; to this end, our mask will undergo
tests at a company in Ajdovščina, Slovenia.
It is important to note, however, that masks, produced with 3D printing are merely a
makeshift solution in case of mask shortage, which, we hope, will never take place.
In addition to masks, 3D printing allows us to produce protection face shields. We are
currently printing the first series of the model, developed by the Czech company Prusa,
which, if proved suitable, will be produced following the demand for the same.
In December we started printing and selling a new souvenir of which we are very proud – a replica of the fairy tale train that drives tourists through Postojnska cave. The train is composed of many small details and colours, so the designing process was very challenging but the final product is therefore so much more rewarding. We are very excited to finally present you the train in 3D shape!

Prototypes are great for testing the ergonomics of the product. If we use the advanced materials and technologies for printing we can also test the mechanical characteristics of it.
We offer 3D print using a variety of advanced materials. One of them is a material that handles temperatures of +280°C heat and elevated pressures. In addition, we have flexible, rubber-like material and resins, which we print into material to look like polypropylene.
The pictures below show two products that have mechanical characteristics similar to ABS. We used the product in the first picture to make soft jaws for a CNC milling machine and the other two for testing the ergonomics and production strength of the parts in the electrical connection.
To achieve the exact characteristics of the above materials, we improve 3D printed products under 405nm UV light.
Some of our prototypes are of smaller dimensions and have finer details printed on them. In this case, we use a SLA 3D printer. If necessary, we print the item in a 0,025mm resolution, which means that every vertical millimetre of 3D print is composed of 40 layers. At this resolution, the individual layers cannot be seen with bare eye.

3D print allows us to produce items with no extra costs or tools such as tools for injection of plastic. The operational principle of 3D print consists of adding material layer after layer and if we look closely at the printed object, we can see those layers with our bare eyes. In most cases these visible layers are not problematic, but sometimes costumers prefer prints that look as close as possible to the original. In that case, we need to extra process the prints with sanding, polishing and/or colouring. An example of this kind of product is this replica of Neanderthal flute. The Neanderthal flute is the oldest known musical instrument ever found in the world and it was made by aNeanderthal man who used a cave bear bone to make it. The flute was discovered in 1995 in Slovenia. We are proud to say that we print the flute replica sold as a souvenir at the National History Museum of Slovenia.
A client wanted a protection cover for the front side of their product. We designed this plastic cover (80mmx65mmx23mm) which can be put in the box before sending/storing the product. In the pictures below, you can see six different covers, each in a different production phase. In this case, we talk about smaller production series (approx. 200-300 pieces/month). Such quantity can be printed in 24 hours and sold for less than €0.50/unit. This is a nice example of why 3D print can be used for the production of smaller series because there’s no need for manufacturing expensive tools for the injection of plastic. It is worth emphasizing that such prints are printed with rough print settings, because the covers are usually disposed after use and there is no need for finer details.
